PRIVATE YOGA LESSONS - Individuals

Private lessons are ideal for busy professionals or those unable to commit to a regular group class, and especially for people that value personal attention and instruction. Private lessons are  60 minutes in length, or as required for your needs. 

Private yoga lessons can also be used as a therapy for stress related disorders, improving cardio vascular function, back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, hormonal imbalance, joint problems and post surgical joint replacement.

$100.00 per hour pre payment required to receive class link by email

HATHA YOGA COURSE 40+

8 WEEK BEGINNER COURSE Via Zoom Live

Tuesday September 15th - November 3rd (eight weeks)

Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Early Bird Fee: $120.00

After September 10th: $135.00 (HST included)


For men and women aged 40 and over who are in average fitness ability, any shape or size and want to start their journey into yoga safely with confidence.

A well paced and methodical course that will help you understand proper physical alignment and biomechanics.


The benefits of each yoga pose and breathing exercises will be explained, methods for home practice are encouraged.

Stay youthful, get fit and manage stress the yogic way!


Zoom Class links will be sent to students the day before scheduled class times.

All levels welcomed suggested modifications will be offered.

HATHA YOGA COURSE 40+

8 WEEK INTERMEDIATE COURSE Via Zoom Live

Tuesday September 17th - November 5th (eight weeks)

Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Early Bird Fee: $120.00

After September 10th: $135.00 (HST included)

For men and women aged 40 and over who are in average fitness ability, any shape or size and want to continue their journey into yoga safely with confidence.


This 8 week course will build on the basics of the beginner course, introducing variations of the basic postures including the traditional Sun Salutation sequence and more in depth breath work and techniques for deep relaxation.


One must have taken a beginner level course recently to be qualified for this intermediate course.


Zoom Class links will be sent to students the day before scheduled class times.

All levels welcomed suggested modifications will be offered.

WOMEN ONLY - Hatha Yoga Classes

Join Brenda Bell for weekly yoga classes that focus on the needs of women aged 40 and over. These live interactive classes allow time for personal attention, addressing age related health concerns, which will lead to improved health, stress management, self confidence and the ability to achieve personal goals. Get fit, healed and relaxed safely. All aspects of Hatha yoga are incorporated into these classes including postures for strength and flexibility, breath work, and deep relaxation. 

All levels welcomed, suggested modifications will be made for individual ability.

Brenda is available to teach private classes for individuals or groups up to 10 via Zoom

Each class ends with breath work and a mini meditation. Chair Yoga is also excellent in the workplace to reduce stress, increase mental clarity and productivity.

RELAX AND REJUVENATE

Release mental and physical stress with gentle stretches, supported poses and breath work. This type of practice leaves one feeling refreshed and energized while inducing mental calm and clarity. Excellent for those with stress related disorders such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, improves cardiovascular and respiratory conditions and relieves arthritic pain.

 



 

MOVING DEEPER - SEATED POSES

October 24

With focus on proper alignment and use of breath one can safely increase flexibility, release back, hip and leg pain and stiffness. Seated poses take mental focus inward calming the nervous system and mind leaving one with a greater sense of peace and joy. A great way to prepare for meditation, or a sound sleep.

Fundamentals Of Standing Poses -

Learn the proper use of energy and alignment for grounding and expanding to create space in all joints. This leads to improved posture, increased strength and flexibility, relieving back, hip, knee, ankle pain. Strengthens the feet, improves balance and cardiovascular health.

Working within each individual's limitations, Brenda will teach the theory used in all practices - from the simplest to more advanced postures, enabling one to find the joy and unique health benefits that Hatha Yoga offers us.
 

All levels welcome.
