Private lessons are ideal for busy professionals or those unable to commit to a regular group class, and especially for people that value personal attention and instruction. Private lessons are 60 minutes in length, or as required for your needs.
Private yoga lessons can also be used as a therapy for stress related disorders, improving cardio vascular function, back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, hormonal imbalance, joint problems and post surgical joint replacement.

For men and women aged 40 and over who are in average fitness ability, any shape or size and want to advance their journey into yoga safely with confidence.
These classes are a compliment to the basic 12 Poses For Strong Bones, introducing variations of the basic postures and focus on improving balance which is important for preventing falls and bone fractures.
More in depth instruction for various personal needs, and more advanced breath work and techniques for deep relaxation.

Join Brenda Bell for weekly yoga classes that focus on the needs of women aged 40 and over. These live interactive classes allow time for personal attention, addressing age related health concerns, which will lead to improved health, stress management, self confidence and the ability to achieve personal goals. Get fit, healed and relaxed safely. All aspects of Hatha yoga are incorporated into these classes including postures for strength and flexibility, breath work, and deep relaxation.
All levels welcomed, suggested modifications will be made for individual ability.

Chair Yoga is for people of all ages who have limited mobility resulting from various issues such as sports injuries, post surgery, joint replacements, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stroke recovery, cardiovascular disorders and more. Each class ends with breath work and a mini meditation. Chair Yoga is also excellent in the workplace to reduce stress, increase mental clarity and productivity.
Brenda Bell is an Accessible Yoga Ambassador. With her expert guidance and experience as a therapist, yoga poses can be modified and adapted to meet the needs of the students and are performed while seated in a chair. Contact Brenda to find out if Chair Yoga is right for you.

Yoga backbends are often called "The Fountain of Youth"
If you sit at a desk a lot then you need back bends!
When executed with proper awareness they can help alleviate back, neck and shoulder pain as well as respiratory, cardiovascular disorders. Back bends greatly improve posture which gives one a youthful appearance as well as increased vigour and vitality.
RELAX AND REJUVENATE

Release mental and physical stress with gentle stretches, supported poses and breath work. This type of practice leaves one feeling refreshed and energized while inducing mental calm and clarity. Excellent for those with stress related disorders such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, improves cardiovascular and respiratory conditions and relieves arthritic pain.
MOVING DEEPER - SEATED POSES

With focus on proper alignment and use of breath one can safely increase flexibility, release back, hip and leg pain and stiffness. Seated poses take mental focus inward calming the nervous system and mind leaving one with a greater sense of peace and joy. A great way to prepare for meditation, or a sound sleep.
